This being my very first internship and the company being a start-up, it was a great experience. The environment is very friendly and laid back. Rather than being stuck in cubicles like a typical office environment, it was an open space where I was able to interact with my co-workers on both the tech and the business side. The work I did was all relevant and I got to see it eventually go into production. I also learned quite a lot given that I had minimal web programming experience. Just two months ago, I was completely new to Marketing, Web 2.0 and the tech world (I am an econ major and did a finance internship last summer which I hated btw.) Thanks to Yoono and the great group of people that work there, I was able to get what I think is perhaps the best "real world experience" of my life.
